Eagle and Chinden intersection will be repaved and restriped tonight
MERIDIAN –The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will repave and restripe the southbound lanes at the Eagle Road and Chinden Boulevard intersection tonight (Tuesday, Dec. 11).
Flaggers will direct traffic from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., and there will be limited access at night to the intersection. At least one lane in each direction will remain open. All business accesses will remain open.
Crews will finish paving the northbound lanes on Eagle Road and place medians on Chinden Boulevard near the intersection to complete the project. All construction work is done at night.
ITD is scheduled to complete the project by late December.

When complete, the improvements will preserve the surface of Eagle Road, relieve congestion and improve safety on this important corridor.
