Access to Linder Road from Idaho 44 will be closed this weekend

EAGLE – Access to Linder Road from Idaho 44 heading north will close on Friday (Feb. 8) at 9 p.m. and reopen on Monday (Feb. 11) at 6 a.m. The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will close the segment of Linder just north of the Idaho 44 intersection as crews rebuild a bridge over the Middleton Mill Canal.

During the closure, drivers will still be able to access Linder Road from Floating Feather Road. Detour routes will be clearly marked. Access will remain open to Hope Lutheran Church and residences and schools on Linder Road.

The speed limit has been reduced to 45 mph in the construction zone. At least one lane in each direction will remain open on Idaho 44.

Safety is ITD’s top priority. Please remember to slow down, pay attention in construction zones and be aware of the safety of construction workers. Motorists can expect delays during construction. Drivers should plan extra time for trips and, if possible, find an alternate route. Patience is appreciated.

Central Paving Inc. and Horrocks Engineers are the design-build team members for this $9.2 million project.

Construction is expected to be completed by this fall.
