Free workshops in Garden City, Pocatello and Coeur d'Alene teach strategy for bidding and estimating
BOISE – Construction contractors and suppliers may learn how to develop their own system of bidding and estimating at a free full-day workshop held in three locations, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced.
March 12, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., at Trico Construction, Inc., 4688 W. Chinden Boulevard, Garden City.
March 26, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the ITD District Five Office, 5151 South 5th, Pocatello.
April 9, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., at the ITD District One Office, 600 W. Prairie, Coeur d’Alene.
The program will be presented by Steve “Kiwi” Hunt of Trico Construction Inc. and is sponsored by ITD's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Supportive Services.
Topics will include “Plans and Specifications,” “Estimating” and “Submitting Bids.”
