Maintenance work to cause lane restrictions and delays on two Twin Falls-area bridges
SHOSHONE - Maintenance crews will begin cleaning decks on the U.S. 93 Perrine Bridge Wednesday (March 22) and on the Idaho 50 Hansen Bridge Friday (March 24), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions on the U.S. 93 Perrine Bridge as crews sweep loose debris from the deck. Crews will work from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect possible delays of 5-10 minutes. The project is expected to be complete by Thursday (March 23).

Motorists should anticipate 10-15 minute delays on the Idaho 50 Hansen Bridge as flaggers direct one-way traffic over the bridge during the cleaning process. The speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph. Sweeping is expected to be complete in one day.

The removal of loose debris on bridge roadways and walkways ensures the safety of pedestrians and motorists while contributing to the preservation of the bridge.
