Continued work on Eagle Road railroad crossing will restrict traffic on Sunday, Monday
BOISE - Crews will restrict traffic on Eagle Road at the railroad crossing between Franklin and Pine on Sunday and Monday (May 5 and 6) for continued repairs. The work done at the crossing yesterday was an emergency repair needed until this permanent measure could fix the roadway.
Starting at 6 a.m. on Sunday, crews will replace concrete panels and ties at the crossing. The work will likely last until early evening. On Monday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., crews will mill and replace asphalt, about four inches deep. The asphalt on the edge of the crossing was damaged by rubbing against the loose planking and panels as vehicles traveled over them.

On both days, traffic will be shifted to one lane in each direction at the shoulder of the road.
