Sign upgrades in North Idaho begin Monday
COEUR d'ALENE - Starting Monday (May 13) and continuing for the next month, crews will perform sign upgrades by installing concrete sign foundations overnight on Interstate 90 from the Washington state line to the Sherman Avenue Interchange.
Crews will work from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Friday. There will only be three miles at a time of single-lane restrictions (both east- and westbound) in the 15-mile segment.
Specialty Construction Supply, of Meridian, is the prime contractor on this $1.3 million project to perform nearly 800 sign upgrades. The overall work began in April and will be done by this fall.
