U.S. 12 construction begin east of Kooskia today
LEWISTON – The Idaho Transportation Department began a project on Tuesday (May 28) that includes replacing culverts, cold milling and paving the road's surface, and updating guardrail sections on U.S. 12 for the next six weeks. The project is located eight miles east of Kooskia from milepost 81.6 to 90.7 in Idaho County.
A sealcoat will also be applied next year as a part of this project.
Traffic should expect minor delays up to 15 minutes during the
construction. Flaggers and pilot cars will be used to direct traffic.
Poe Asphalt Paving Inc., of Lewiston, is the contractor on this $2.25 million project.
