Sinkhole on Eagle Road south of State closes right lane
BOISE – A sinkhole on Eagle Road (Idaho 55) just south of State Street (Idaho 44) has caused closure of the southbound right lane and right turnbay as ITD crews complete repairs this evening, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

Crews responded to reports of a pothole, which turned out to be a big sinkhole requiring repair. ITD crews will likely work late into the evening.
The cause of the sinkhole is still under investigation, and the extent of the needed repairs are unknown at this time.
