Blue Cruise bicycle ride Saturday will impact local roads
BOISE - The Blue Cruise of Idaho bicycle ride will impact local routes in the Treasure Valley Saturday (June 22). Three separate rides will take place, all starting at Blue Cross of Idaho on Eagle Road. Multiple aid stations also will be set up for riders.
Rides will cover multiple distances, with a 15-mile, 30-mile, 50-mile, and 100-mile route for the event.
The 15-mile event will follow a rectangular route utilizing Cloverdale Road and Locust Grove Road, with Pine Avenue, Columbia Road and Rosario Street used as well. The 30-mile and 50-mile routes will feature a similar form, but also will extend south to Kuna. The 100-mile route extends east to Cole Road and west into Canyon County.
The routes intersect with Idaho 69 (Meridian Road), Idaho 55 (Eagle Road) and Idaho 45, and requires an ITD permit.
