Mobility council to hear program updates Tuesday in Boise
BOISE - Improving coordination of Idaho’s public-transportation services will lead discussion when the Idaho Mobility Council (IMC) meets Tuesday (July 23) in Boise.

The public is invited to attend the meeting, scheduled from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 7400 W. Overland Rd. People may participate via telephone by contacting Marsha Bracke at marsha@marshabracke.com or by dialing (208) 472-8841 at least 24 hours before the meeting to receive a call-in phone number.

Meeting participants will review a list of public transportation opportunities developed by Idaho’s Interagency Working Group (IWG) and receive a status report on initial activities. Those activities include identifying local contacts, communication and education, reaching out to engage policy makers and discussing a transportation data opportunity.

Facilitated discussions will cover an IWG pilot-project proposal, understanding a customer’s transportation experience, and the status of Community Choices for Idaho and its recent call for Notice of Intent Applications to fund local infrastructure projects.

The IMC provides leadership, enhances coordination and leverages funds for Idaho’s mobility system. The group includes members of the Public Transportation Advisory Council and the IWG.
