Public invited to view concept design for the Blue Lakes North Corridor Project
SHOSHONE - The public is invited to view the concept design and construction schedule for the Blue Lakes North Corridor Project from Falls Avenue to Pole Line Road in Twin Falls at an open house Wednesday, April 26.

The meeting will be held at the College of Southern Idaho, 315 Falls Ave., on the second floor of the Taylor Administration Building Room 276, from 6 - 7:30 p.m.

In November 2005, the Twin Falls City Council decided in favor of voluntary driveway consolidation and left turnout restrictions instead of raised medians in the project area. Project consultants met with property and business owners and also mailed questionnaires to identify a preferred construction schedule to minimize construction impacts to project area businesses. The results of these efforts will be presented at the meeting.

For more information on the Blue Lakes North Corridor Project, please contact ITD Project Manager Steven Tonks at 886-7888, Twin Falls City Engineer Jackie Fields at 735-7273 or Twin Falls City Manager, Tom Courtney at 735-7271.

Project information is also available on the Web site at itd.idaho.gov -  go to Get Involved, then south central Idaho and click on U.S. 93 Blue Lakes, Falls to Pole Line.
