Public transportation interagency working group meeting on Tuesday in Boise
BOISE Idaho's public transportation Interagency Working Group (IWG) will meet from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, at the Double Tree Riverside Hotel in Boise.
The group is comprised of representatives from11 state and local agencies. Its mission is to provide leadership in developing coordinated, responsible and integrated public transportation systems in Idaho.
Agenda items include discussions on how to:
support the development of regional relationships, partnerships and networks specific to local public transportation coordination and planning;
develop an initial regional action plan for coordinated transportation planning; and
develop a shared understanding of Federal Transit Administration local coordination planning requirements.
IWG members include representatives from the Idaho Transportation Department, Division of Medicaid, Community Transportation Association of Idaho, Commission on Aging, Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Labor, Department of Education, Council on Developmental Disabilities, Idaho Head Start Association and the Office of the Governor.
