Construction, blasting to impact Idaho 6 travelers Thursday (Sept. 12)

HARVARD -- A curve-improvement project on Idaho 6 north of Harvard will result in delays of up to 15 minutes Thursday (Sept. 12), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

Crews will blast a rock outcropping next to the highway near milepost 16 to improve sight distances and safety for motorists traveling between Harvard and Santa or Saint Maries.

The plan to limit delays to 15 minutes could be influenced by unexpected circumstances, ITD advises.

ITD asks motorists to use caution and follow the directions of flaggers.
