Construction work continues on westbound I-84 east of Boise
BOISE – Motorists who are using westbound Interstate 84 to reach Boise or who are traveling eastbound from Boise are encouraged to allow for extra travel time, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Construction continues on westbound I-84 from the Eisenman Interchange to the vicinity of the Mayfield/Orchard exit, or the Stage Coach exit. Westbound and eastbound traffic on I-84 is limited to one lane between the Eisenman Interchange and the area close to the Mayfield/Orchard exit.
The Blacks Creek Rest Area that serves westbound travelers is closed. In addition, the westbound Eisenman off-ramp is closed.
Those planning on attending the Boise State University football game on Saturday evening or other events in Boise are advised to anticipate some delays while traveling on I-84 east of Boise.
