Watch for Sunday afternoon news release
The Idaho Transportation Department will receive more national awards than any other state this weekend at the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials annual meeting in Denver. AASHTO, which is based in Washington, D.C., represents all of the state departments of transportation and sets standards for all 50 states.
ITD claimed four prestigious awards, one of which included $10,000 from AASHTO. Proceeds will go to an engineering student enrolled in a higher education program in Idaho.
Details of the national awards, along with video and audio, will be available Sunday (Oct. 20) afternoon. Please watch for a news release and instructions on accessing electronic files from our FTP site.
Thank you for informing your audience of ITD’s success on behalf of all Idaho’s citizens.
