Lane restrictions begin Wednesday on Memorial Bridge in North Lewiston
LEWISTON – Travel across Memorial Bridge on U.S. 95 in North Lewiston will be restricted the next two weeks for joint repairs beginning Wednesday (Oct. 23), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

Crews will use a concrete/polymer mix to match the driving surface with bridge joints and improve travel conditions for motorists. The joints now are slightly higher, resulting in minor bumps as cars cross the bridge.

ITD will repair seven joints in each of the four lanes, closing one lane at a time.

Drivers should watch for and follow signs indicating a lane closure. Slight delays, especially during peak drive times, can be expected.

Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays and expect to complete the project by Nov. 8. All four lanes across the bridge will remain open during non-work hours.
