Idaho 75 detour onto Broadway Run to begin Saturday
KETCHUM – Paving of the southbound lanes of Idaho 75 will require a detour of northbound traffic onto Broadway Run beginning Saturday (Nov. 2), the Idaho Transportation Department announced, and may last through the weekend.
Through Friday, crews will be paving from near Cold Springs to the Hospital Drive intersection and will be ready to complete the traffic crossover through the weekend.
All northbound traffic will be detoured onto Broadway Run from 8 a.m. until paving activities end each day by early evening. Southbound traffic will continue through the construction zone and not be detoured.
Following roadway paving, crews will complete construction of temporary driveways and business access, install temporary signage and striping, and complete the winter drainage plan in preparation for
winter shutdown.
Through the winter, both directions of traffic will be shifted to the new alignment onto two lanes of traffic just south of Hospital drive. The restricted space does not allow for a continuous center-turn lane, but left-turn bays will be included for southbound traffic at Broadway Run and Cold Springs and for both directions at Hospital Drive.
