Joint repairs planned Tuesday on Lewiston's Memorial Bridge
LEWISTON – Travel across Memorial Bridge in North Lewiston will be restricted Tuesday (Nov. 26), from 7:30 a.m. until about 4 p.m. for joint repairs, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Crews will use a concrete/polymer mix to match the driving surface with bridge joints and improve conditions for motorists. The joints now are slightly higher, resulting in minor bumps as cars cross the bridge.
Drivers should watch for flaggers and workers near the travel lanes. Slight delays are likely. All four lanes across the bridge will remain open during non-work hours.
Weather permitting, another round of bridge-joint repairs will be scheduled before the end of January.
