Weather will dictate whether Omega Morgan load travels tonight
BOISE - Inclement weather in the forecast for eastern Oregon and southwest Idaho might keep the Omega Morgan oversized load from moving tonight (Friday, Dec. 20) toward the Idaho border.
The load traveled about 40 miles Thursday night and Friday morning. It stopped at a weigh station a few miles east of Vale. The next move would take the load to Idaho 19 into Homedale, Idaho, then into Marsing and the junction of U.S. 95/Idaho 55.
Transport company officials will have a safety meeting this evening and determine whether it can continue toward the Idaho border.
