UPDATE: Idaho 21 from Grandjean to Banner Summit will close at 4 p.m.
UPDATE: Idaho 21 between Banks and Stanley will remain open until 4 p.m. today (Friday, Jan. 10) but will be closed at that time as a precaution because of increased avalanche risk. A closure announced earlier today indicated a 12-mile section of Idaho 21 between Grandjean Junction and Banner Summit closed this morning. Travel on the highway will be permitted until the 4 p.m. closure.
