Hillside rock-clearing work will cause delays on Idaho 21 south of Idaho City
BOISE - Motorists will experience delays of about 15 minutes on Idaho 21 between Boise and Idaho City today through Thursday (May 2-4) while crews clear a nearby hillside of loose rocks that pose a possible hazard to highway users, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Workers on the hillside near the Rocks Lodge at about milepost 26 on Idaho 21 will release loose rocks to roll onto the highway, where they will be cleared away. Motorists will be stopped outside of the work zone while work is in progress.
The delays will occur between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. through Thursday.
