Pavement repair Thursday on eastbound I-84 between Meridian and Eagle
BOISE - Idaho Transportation Department crews will repair concrete slabs on a stretch of eastbound Interstate 84 between Meridian and Eagle starting Thursday (April 17), after westbound repairs last week between Nampa and Caldwell.
The two right outer lanes in the immediate area will be closed during the repairs.
Repairs to both sides of the freeway through the Treasure Valley will take place intermittently as weather and manpower allow during the next few months.
To minimize traffic impacts, work is slated for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - after the morning commute and before the evening commute. ITD will work to accomplish the repairs as quickly as possible.
The transportation department placed an electronic message board on I-84 this morning to alert the public to the upcoming work.
