Traffic flow improved by “dual left” signal work at Coeur d’Alene intersection
COEUR D'ALENE - Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) traffic crews will begin converting the east- and westbound signals at Coeur d’ Alene’s U.S. 95 intersection with Nieder Avenue at 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday (June 18).
The traffic-signal conversion is expected to take less than half an hour, and will result in two left turns available for both the east- and westbound legs of the intersection, rather than just one currently. No direct interruption of traffic is anticipated.
The work is expected to improve the movement of traffic accessing U.S. 95, both east- and westbound.
