ITD crews clearing right of way along Idaho 57
COEUR D'ALENE - Maintenance crews from the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) are clearing brush and debris from the highway right of way along Idaho 57 this week, through Friday (June 27).
Work includes the removal of hazardous trees along this section of roadway. These are trees that interfere with the clear vision of motorists or are too close to the roadway to allow sufficient space for a run-off-the-road driver to recover.
During the work, one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction to minimize traffic delays. Motorists are urged to observe the posted speed limit and exercise caution in the work zones.
