Signal work focused on Pleasant Valley Road in Post Falls
COEUR D'ALENE - Work is underway on the Interstate 90 Pleasant View and Spokane Street signal-improvement project in north Idaho, and will focus this week on Pleasant View Road, from Riverbend Drive to Seltice Way, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. The project is expected to continue for approximately four and one-half months.
Drivers can expect one-lane closures in the areas where crews are locating and installing conduit, J-boxes and splice vaults, or performing signal foundations, boring conduit, and doing overhead work on signal-arm mast or installing traffic-detection equipment in travel lanes. The work also includes the signal upgrade on the overpass.
Thorco, of Coeur d'Alene, is the contractor on this $837,000 project.
