ITD crews repaving section of westbound I-90 July 21-24
COEUR D'ALENE - Idaho Transportation Department crews will grind and repave a short section of westbound Interstate 90 July 21-24 at milepost 24 between Wolf Lodge Creek bridge and Cedar Creek interchange. The work will result in a smoother ride for drivers and lengthen the life of the highway at that location.
The section is approximately 25 feet wide, 1,300 feet long and 3.5 inches deep. Crews will grind out the old and crumbling asphalt July 21 and repave over the next few days, reopening the highway by the morning of July 24.
During the work, traffic will be restricted as crews work on one lane at a time, from 6 am to 6 pm. Traffic restrictions will remain in place overnight as crews taper down the ramps at the beginning and end of this section.
