ITD crews cleaning ditches and replacing culverts on U.S. 95 near Sandpoint through Thursday
COEUR D'ALENE - Idaho Transportation Department maintenance crews will be working on U.S. 95 one mile south of Sandpoint, south of the Long Bridge, today (Tuesday, July 22) through Thursday (July 24). The work is being done to increase drainage and replace old or partially-blocked culverts.
Crews will be working on the west side of the road (in the southbound lanes) in the one-mile section between Lakeshore Drive and Bottle Bay Road, from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
Drivers can expect slower travel speeds in this section of highway during this work.
To avoid one-lane traffic, the center turn lane will be used for travel, affecting turning movements in this corridor.
