Southbound U.S. 26 (Yellowstone Highway) in Idaho Falls to close Wednesday for maintenance
RIGBY - Southbound U.S. 26 (Yellowstone Highway) in Idaho Falls will close at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 13) as crews fill a hole in the highway, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. The road will reopen at 5:30 p.m.
Traffic will be detoured on two routes:
- Southbound trucks must turn right on Anderson Street/Science Center Drive, then turn left to U.S. 20.
- All other southbound traffic must turn right on Boulevard Avenue (South Boulevard), then turn right on Elm Street and proceed to U.S. 26 (Yellowstone Highway).
