UPDATE: U.S. 95 in Sandpoint area reopened to one lane after Long Bridge accident
SANDPOINT - A section of U.S. 95, closed in the Long Bridge area between milepost 471.6 and 473.8, reopened to one lane this morning (Friday, Aug. 15) at 9:45 a.m. (MST). The section of bridge had been closed after an accident involving a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The accident occurred close to 7 a.m. on Friday. There was one fatality.
