Perrine Bridge lanes will be restricted next week for inspection
TWIN FALLS – Drivers in Twin Falls can expect lane restrictions across the Perrine Bridge next week for three days of bridge-inspection activities, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
On Monday (Sept. 15), there will be closures in the northbound lanes to allow inspectors to access the bridge arch from the road surface. On Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept. 16-17), the outside lane will be closed, one side each day, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the inspection uses a reach-all bucket truck to access the underside of the bridge deck.
Drivers can expect minor congestion and short delays due to lane restrictions. There will be a 14-foot width restriction in effect during work hours. Pedestrian walkways also will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday on the corresponding side of the lane closure.
Drivers are urged to be cautious when crossing the bridge and watch for crew members and equipment. ITD appreciates the patience and cooperation of those driving through the work zone.
