Eastbound I-84 off-ramp will be closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights at Gowen

BOISE – The eastbound Interstate 84 off-ramp will be closed at the Gowen Road Interchange Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights (Sept. 14-16) from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. to allow crews to install a drainage pipe under the ramp, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced.

Drivers may access Gowen Road from the Broadway Interchange via Production Street during the ramp closures. Click here to download a map of the detour route.

ITD reminds drivers to slow down and pay attention in the work zone. The speed limit is 55 mph on I-84 and 25 mph on Gowen Road.

The interchange is being replaced to accommodate more traffic and improve safety. Construction is expected to be completed in late 2015.

Knife River Corporation, of Boise, is the contractor for this $27 million project.
