Transportation department seeks comment on section of Idaho 55
BOISE - The public is invited to comment on proposed safety improvements to a section of Idaho 55 that runs from Smiths Ferry to Round Valley, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Proposed improvements include adding passing lanes on Idaho 55 south of Smiths Ferry, intersection improvements at Wellington Snow Park and Smiths Ferry Drive and minor safety improvements in the canyon north of Smiths Ferry.
The meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cascade Legion Event Hall, 105 E. Mill Street in Cascade.
