Transportation department, City of Pocatello host public hearing Tuesday on city intersection
POCATELLO - The Idaho Transportation Department and the City of Pocatello are hosting a public hearing Tuesday (Dec. 9) regarding potential changes to the intersection where Alameda, Jefferson, Hiline and Pocatello Creek roads meet.
Possible changes are designed to reduce traffic congestion at the intersection and improve safety.
The hearing is Dec. 9 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Tendoy Elementary School, 957 E. Alameda Road in Pocatello. Staff from the city, state transportation department and Six Mile Engineering will be available to answer questions.
Displays will illustrate project information, and a hearing officer will be available to take verbal comments.
