Gowen Road Interchange eastbound I-84 off-ramp will be closed TONIGHT (Dec. 2)
BOISE – The Gowen Road Interchange eastbound Interstate 84 off-ramp will be closed tonight (Tuesday, Dec. 2), the Idaho Transportation Department announced. The closure will allow crews to remove old striping, move guardrail and
restripe the freeway and ramp. The work is necessary to
prepare for opening the second eastbound lane on I-84, which is expected
to happen this week.
The closure will begin at 8 p.m. and the off-ramp will reopen at 5 a.m. Wednesday. Motorists may access Gowen Road from the Broadway Avenue Interchange via Production Street during the ramp closure.

The work will be rescheduled if delayed by inclement weather.
Knife River Corporation, of Boise, is the contractor for this $27 million project.
