Gowen Road Interchange eastbound I-84 ramp closures Sunday (Dec. 7)
BOISE – The Gowen Road Interchange eastbound Interstate 84 on-and off-ramps will be closed during the day and overnight Sunday (Dec. 7), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
- Gowen's on-ramp will be closed from noon until 5 p.m. Motorists may access I-84 from the Eisenman Interchange during the ramp closure.
- Gowen's off-ramp will be closed starting at 7:30 p.m. and will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday. Motorists may access Gowen Road from the Broadway Avenue Interchange via Production Street during the ramp closure.

The closure will allow crews to pave I-84, remove old striping, move guardrail and restripe I-84 and the eastbound off-ramp. The work is necessary to prepare for opening the second eastbound lane on I-84, which is expected to open on Monday morning.
These activities are weather-dependent.
Knife River Corporation, of Boise, is the contractor for this $27 million project.
