Broadway Interchange lane restrictions start tonight
BOISE – Beginning tonight (Dec. 9), the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) will restrict lanes at night on Interstate 84 under the Broadway Interchange through December.
I-84 lanes will be restricted to one lane in each direction while crews restripe the interstate and form the bridge deck over I-84. Lane restrictions will be in place from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. on weekends.
Lanes will also be restricted tonight only on Broadway Avenue from the New York Canal to the TA Travel Center. Lane restrictions will be in place from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. while crews restripe the roadway.
The work zone speed limit is 55 mph on I-84 and 25 mph on Broadway Avenue. ITD reminds drivers to slow down and pay attention in the construction area.
