Coeur d'Alene aviation workshop for teachers canceled
BOISE - The Teacher Aviation Workshop scheduled for Coeur d'Alene June 19, 20 has been canceled because of insufficient registrations, announced program coordinator Frank Lester of the Idaho Transportation Departments Aeronautics Division.
Two other workshops, which are designed to help teachers incorporate topics related to aviation in regular classroom curriculum, will be offered in Idaho Falls, June 22, 23, and Boise, June 28, 29. Teachers from northern Idaho who would like to attend one of those workshops should contact Lester at (208) 334-8775 or via e-mail at frank.lester@itd.idaho.gov.
Cost of the workshops is $25. Teachers who would like to receive college credit for the class will pay $75.
