Westbound off-ramp at the I-84 Eagle Road Interchange will be reduced to one lane starting Saturday (March 7)
MERIDIAN – On Saturday morning (March 7), the westbound off-ramp at the Interstate 84 Eagle Road Interchange will be reduced to one lane, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced. Lane restrictions on the westbound off-ramp will be in place for approximately two weeks.
The lane restrictions will allow to crews create a work zone to remove concrete near the Eagle Interchange.
The work is part of ITD’s project to rebuild the outside lanes and shoulders of I-84 between Meridian and Five Mile roads.
Through the end of March, overnight lane restrictions will continue on I-84 under the Meridian Interchange bridge from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. weekdays, and to 7 a.m. on weekends. At least one lane will remain open in each direction on I-84 at night as crews continue building the east half of the new interchange bridge.
Concrete Placing Company, of Boise, is the contractor for the project.
