Drivers advised to watch for lane restrictions, utility work at Broadway Bridge in Boise

BOISE - Motorists are advised to watch for lane restrictions and utility work on the Broadway Avenue Bridge on Wednesday night (March 25), the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

The transportation department will be drilling holes at the bridge to locate utility lines.

During the overnight work, one northbound outside lane on Broadway Avenue will be closed from the bridge to just before the entrance to the Ram Plaza. The lane restrictions will be in place from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Access to businesses will remain open.

The utility work is being done as part of the replacement of the bridge.

Drivers and neighbors in the vicinity of the bridge can expect to see additional utility work for this project through the summer.
