Interstate 84 eastbound off-ramp at Broadway Interchange will reopen to two lanes
BOISE – Motorists exiting eastbound Interstate 84 at Broadway Avenue will begin using a new off-ramp Tuesday morning (April 14),the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced. The new off-ramp will have two lanes for traffic to exit the interstate.
Lane restrictions will be in place Monday night (April 13) from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the ramp and eastbound I-84 near the Broadway Interchange as crews put the traffic shift into place.
Shifting traffic onto the new eastbound off-ramp will give crews room to build the outside lanes and shoulders of I-84.
ITD reminds drivers to slow down and pay attention in the work zone. The speed limit is 55 mph on I-84 and 25 mph on Broadway Avenue.
Construction of the new I-84 Broadway Interchange is expected to be complete late this year.
