Update: Access to downtown Boise from Fairview Avenue will remain open tonight
BOISE – The Idaho Transportation Department has canceled tonight’s (April 14) closure of the I-184 Connector on-ramp to downtown Boise from Fairview Avenue. Intermittent lane restrictions will continue on the Connector tonight from 8 p.m. to 11 a.m.
The ramp was closed for safety last night while crews removed concrete from the Orchard Street Bridge over I-184. Work affecting the on-ramp was completed early.
Day-and-night lane restrictions will continue on Orchard Street until late May while bridge maintenance continues. Orchard Street is reduced to one lane in both directions between Bond and Irving streets. The I-184 on-ramp from southbound Orchard Street to downtown Boise is closed.
