ITD will be working on U.S. 95 in Careywood starting Monday
COEUR D'ALENE -- Idaho Transportation Department crews will be working in a section of U.S. 95 in Careywood starting Monday (April 20) to provide better sight distance and improve safety for motorists by removing diseased and hazardous trees near the highway right of way.
Careywood is a town in Bonner County a few miles north-northwest of Athol.
The work will continue through May 1. Because the affected area is near a railroad crossing, ITD is working with Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) on the project.
