Traffic shifts at Interstate 84-Broadway Interchange on-ramps scheduled for tonight and Wednesday night
BOISE – Motorists are being shifted to the permanent Interstate 84 on-ramps at the Broadway Interchange this week, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced. Crews will shift traffic to the new eastbound on-ramp tonight (April 21). The traffic shift to the new westbound on-ramp is scheduled for Wednesday night (April 22).
Drivers will use the new on-ramps through the summer while crews rebuild the outside lanes and shoulders of I-84. Lane configurations on the ramps will be adjusted several times as construction continues through late summer.
Intermittent nighttime lane restrictions will continue on I-84 at the Broadway Interchange through the end of April. I-84 will be restricted to one lane in each direction from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weeknights and to 7 a.m. on weekends.
The speed limit is 55 mph on I-84 and 25 mph on Broadway Avenue.
