Traffic shifted to new westbound off-ramp at I-84 Broadway Interchange Tuesday night (April 28)
BOISE – Motorists will be shifted onto the permanent Interstate 84 westbound off-ramp at the Broadway Avenue Interchange Tuesday night (April 28), the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced.
Drivers will use the new off-ramp through the summer while crews rebuild the outside lanes and shoulders of I-84. Lane configurations on the ramp will be adjusted several times as construction continues through late this year.
The speed limit is 55 mph on I-84 and 25 mph on Broadway Avenue.
ITD is replacing the Broadway Avenue Interchange and adding a third lane on I-84 in order to add capacity and help reduce traffic congestion.
