REMINDER: Closures at I-84 Gowen Interchange tonight and tomorrow (May 8, 9) as crews place girders for new interchange
BOISE – Tonight and tomorrow night (May 8 and 9), the Idaho Transportation Department will close the eastbound Interstate 84 on-and off-ramps at the Gowen Interchange and Gowen Road from Federal Way to Eisenman Road. The closures will be in place from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. both nights as crews place girders for the new I-84 interchange bridge over Gowen Road.

Crews will set five girders tonight and three girders tomorrow night.
ITD reminds drivers to slow down and pay attention in the work zone. The speed limit is 55 mph on I-84 and 25 mph on Gowen Road.
Construction is expected to be completed in late 2015. Knife River Construction is the contractor for the I-84 Gowen Interchange project.
