I-90 Weigh-in-Motion project to reopen one lane by tomorrow morning
POST FALLS - Work is progresses a month ahead of schedule on installing a weigh-in-motion system just west of the Huetter Port of Entry, so crews will remove the concrete barrier closure on Interstate 90 eastbound at approximately 7 p.m. local time tonight (Monday, May 11), the Idaho Transportation Department announced. The contractor will stripe the roadway between milepost 6.2 and 6.5 and perform other work to reopen the lane to traffic.
The right lane will reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. Tuesday (May 12).
The left lane will then close until 5 a.m. Wednesday (May 13) as crews complete striping and install rumble strips on the highway shoulders.
Cameron Reilly LLC from Spokane Valley, Wash., is the contractor for this $250,000 project.
