Traffic shift on U.S. 95, Athol to Granite, scheduled for May 23
COEUR D'ALENE - As part of the U.S. 95 reconstruction underway from Athol to just south of Granite, traffic will shift to the newly constructed southbound lanes May 23, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
Northbound and southbound traffic will use the new southbound lanes while crews build the northbound lanes. Access to local roads will be maintained.
Inclement weather may delay the traffic shift until after Memorial Day.
Scarsella Brothers of Kent, Wash., is the contractor on this $21 million Garwood-to-Sagle project.
