ITD crews work on Idaho 200 to improve safety for drivers
COEUR D'ALENE - Idaho Transportation Department maintenance crews will remove hazards from a section of Idaho 200 east of Hope between June 8 and July 8, restricting but not stopping traffic flow.
Between milepost 39 (right after Trout Creek Road) and milepost 43 (right before Strong Creek Bridge), traffic will be restricted to one lane and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone. Crews will work north to south to remove rocks and trees that may be hazardous to drivers.
Electronic message signs are in place to alert drivers to the upcoming work.
