Changes will be made at Interstate 84 Eagle Interchange eastbound ramps tonight (June 4)

BOISE – Crews will be working at the Interstate 84-Eagle Interchange from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. to make adjustments to the eastbound on- and off-ramps, the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) announced.

The adjustments include changes to the acceleration lanes, merge points and striping at the eastbound on-ramps from southbound and northbound Eagle Road.  The eastbound off-ramp will be shifted to the south.

“At the eastbound on-ramps, acceleration lanes will be added and striping will be adjusted,” said Jayme Coonce, ITD District 3 Project Engineer. “These changes will allow drivers to more easily merge on I-84 at the Eagle Interchange.”

The work is part of ITD’s project to rehabilitate I-84 between Meridian and Five Mile roads. Construction is expected to be complete late this year.
