U.S. 20 to be closed for waste shipment
RIGBY - The Idaho National Laboratory will close a five-mile stretch Idaho 33 near Mud Lake for one hour Thursday (July 13) while hazardous waste tanks are moved from Test Area North, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.
The hour-long closure will occur sometime between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. while the materials are transferred from TAN to Gate 4, just south of the where the route turns west to Howe on the INL site.
